The role
You sit between our API and the customers building on it. One day you're writing fast, reliable API code. The next you're working side by side with a customer to get their integration live. Some people call this a forward deployed engineer.
You know that time with customers is the best product feedback we get. What you learn in their code shapes what our API becomes, and you build those changes yourself.
What you'll do
- Build and improve our API, with a focus on speed and reliability
- Guide customers through integration, from the first call to live payments
- Debug their integrations with them: read their logs, reproduce issues, ship fixes
- Build sample code, scripts and small tools that make integrating faster
- Turn customer problems into API changes and better docs
- Join sales and onboarding calls as the technical voice
What we're looking for
- 3+ years building and shipping software, including high-performance APIs in production (REST, webhooks, auth)
- Experience helping outside teams integrate: solutions engineering, support engineering, or customer-facing dev work
- AI-native: you use AI tools every day to write code, debug, research and write docs, and you can show us how
- You care whether our customers succeed, and you stay with a problem until it's solved
- Proactive: you spot issues before customers do, follow up without being asked, and fix things nobody assigned to you
- Clear written English, and comfortable on calls with customers and founders
- Based in or near SGT, with a few hours a day of overlap with the US team
Nice to have
- Payments, fintech, or stablecoin experience
- TypeScript / Node.js
- Experience at an early-stage startup
